When playing a ranger you should have these following items for level 31-38-42.
You should use this sword Eye of faith greatsword (I suggest having your sprite salvage it if you get Taunting Eye of faith greatsword). The bow you should have is Eye of heart bow. The armor you should use is the Windtracker armor.
When you are leveling from lvl 31-34 I suggest you do merchant rep in angoya island. In angoya island, if you come across these rare mobs Boco Cabana or Boaris, I recommend you spam shocking arrow like crazy.
When leveling from lvl 34 - 38 I suggest you go to plague forest and do Werewolf rep.
At level 38 you need to start getting you're level 40 set and getting you're lvl 40 sword and bow.
At level 38-42 I suggest doing pirate rep.

Basic Information about the game characters
In Grand Fantasia the available classes go from Novice, which you start out as. When you reach level 5 on the starting area, Siwa Island, you can choose to become a hunter, fighter, spellcaster, or acoylte.
At level 15 you can do you're second class change hunter becomes an archer; a fighter becomes a warrior; a spellcaster becomes a mage; and an acoylte becomes a priest. At level 30 you can choose your class from 2 available classes. Archers can choose between an assasin or a ranger. Assasin is close ranged combat that uses poisons and stealth. Ranger is a deadly long ranged attacker. Warriors can choose between a paladin or a beserker. A paladin uses defence to protect their party members. A beserker uses strength to crush enemies. Mages can choose between a wizard or a necromancer. A wizard uses elemental forces to destroy enemies. A necromancer uses dark summons to protect them and destroy enemies. A sage uses the power of nature to heal allies or transform into a bird to buffet enemies with empowered magic or transform into a wolf to defeat enemies or turn into a powerful ape to protect their allies.
